AIKEN AITBAY

Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Aiken Aitbay began her studies at the Music School named after A. Zhubanov. She graduated Kazakh National Conservatory (Almaty), Master in Art Criticism degree in Kazakh National University of Arts (Nur-Sultan) and the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in Switzerland. She studied from stars of classic music - Ilya Gringolts and Rudolf Koelman.
Aiken Aitbay started performing as a soloist at the age of 9 years old with "Camerata Kazakhstan" chamber orchestra, State Philharmonic Symphony orchestra of Kazakhstan.
She is a first prize winner of several international and republic competitions, including participating as a partner in chamber ensembles and artist of orchestras in such a festivals as Tonhalle, Opernhaus (Zürich), Konzerthaus (Berlin), Vaduzer-Saal (Lichtenstein), KKL Lüzern and Viktoria Hall (Geneve).
Aiken Aitbay concert repertoire ranges from early baroque up to modern works. She professional on baroque violin as well. During her studies she took Opera Vocal classes and nowadays recording songs and working with composer, who work with a singer Dimash Kudaibergen.
She also has performed as Jazz violinist with bands as Brand New Heaves (USA) and Kyoto Jazz Massive (Japan)
Aiken Aitbay teaches nowadays in Lerninstitut Arte (Berlin) and several music schools. Her students win international competitions and pass entry exams to Special music schools.
She plays Premiers of new works of Kazakh composers such as Aigerim Seilova, Rakhat-Bi Abdisagin, Adilzhan Tolikpaev and Kuat Shildebayev.
Aiken Aitbay was working as a manager of Kaspi Business Events company in Astana Economic Forum and Kazenergy Association Forum.
In 2021 Aiken Aitbay leading the company established by kazakhs in Germany. She creates and organizes series of classical music concert in collaboration with European musicians.
